EssayPro Review 2025: Low Quality AI Generated Essays

Posted on April 10th, 2025 Essay Writing

These days, finding companies that offer a range of academic help services to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students isn’t difficult—the difficult part is finding a provider that will deliver quality work on time and for a fair price.

Enter EssayPro.com, a company that’s relatively well-known both inside and outside the academic assistance industry. If you didn’t know anything about this company and you saw its ratings on Reviews.io and Sitejabber, you’d probably think this provider is an industry leader.

But is this actually the case? We wanted to know conclusively, so we thoroughly tested this service over a three-month period.

To put it briefly, there are better essay writing services in 2025, and we recommend using any of them before you give your hard-earned money to an EssayPro “expert.”

We’re not going to go as far as to call EssayPro a scam site; rather, we think it could benefit from making a range of improvements.

Below, we detail our experience and offer insights that are sure to be helpful to any student who’s looking to get the most bang for their buck when using a paper writing company.

Key Takeaways

  • EssayPro offers a wide range of in-demand services, but its work quality leaves much to be desired. Moreover, they use AI. Also, customer support could be much better.
  • We believe this company’s shortcomings are due to its team being made up of mostly individuals who don’t speak English as their first language.
  • Granted, pricing is relatively low here, but what good are low prices if the work you’re paying for is generated with ChatGPT?

Reviewing EssayPro.com

Services Offered

When it comes to services being offered, EssayPro.com isn’t all that different from other sites. Term and research papers, essays, basic and complex homework, case studies, dissertations, capstone projects, literature reviews, and book reports—this company claims it can help with these assignments and many more.

Who does this site cater to? Mainly undergraduates, though high school and graduate students won’t be turned away.

What’s missing? Neither resume nor cover letter writing services are offered, which is unfortunate because demand for such services is always high.

Granted, their absence isn’t uncommon; a lot of sites, even the best ones, don’t offer resume or cover letter assistance.

Our problem in this area concerns writer availability. Offering dozens of services is one thing; being able to deliver them, especially when there’s a lot of demand, is what counts.

When we wanted a sample dissertation completed, we were told shortly after submitting the order that no writers were available. We asked when this would change and never got a response.

This wasn’t a glaring red flag, as the order was placed a month or so before finals season; perhaps other services would’ve given us the same answer.

However, shortly after this, we submitted an order for a homework assignment related to computer science. Again, we were told nobody was available!

Fortunately, this didn’t happen every time we placed an order, but it happened enough to be worth mentioning here.

What’s our takeaway? If you need an assignment completed ASAP, relying on this provider may not yield the results you’re looking for, even if it’s short and basic.

Process

EssayPro’s process differs from those of other companies, and there are flaws that should be addressed right away.

The first step, registering and providing order information, is pretty straightforward. To sign up, you need to provide an email and come up with a password.

After you’re registered, you’ll be prompted to submit assignment details. Set a deadline, select a language and academic level, choose a writing style (MLA, APA, Chicago, etc.), and provide any materials that’ll be helpful to the writer.

At the bottom of the assignment details form, there’s a box for additional notes. We recommend putting the most important information here, as it may be missed otherwise—something we learned the hard way.

Next is the writer selection process, and this is where substantial improvements must be made.

First, there’s no filter system. Obviously, we wanted five-star writers every time, so having to constantly scroll over four-, three-, and two-star writers was frustrating. Also, why keep on writers who are only rated two or three stars?

We also found the green ‘online’ circle to be especially unreliable. One time, we messaged 6 writers, all of whom were allegedly online, and none got back to us within the hour.

Also, writers are allowed to bid for your work, which means getting flooded with bids of unqualified or poorly rated writers isn’t an uncommon experience.

If we were running this company, we’d get rid of the bidding system, as it just complicates the writer selection process. The customer should be able to browse available talent seamlessly. When they find a potential match, they should have no problem connecting with this person.

Other sites do it this way, and we’ve never seen reviews or testimonials that suggest this method doesn’t work.

The final stage, getting your paper and paying, is more or less fine. One nice thing is that you don’t have to pay up front. You’re afforded a certain number of edits with your order, but requesting them may be challenging.

For whatever reason, the writers tend to become unresponsive after a first draft is submitted, and needless to say, it shouldn’t be this way. If you have a deadline coming up, a delay in the editing process just won’t do.

This is another common occurrence that must be addressed immediately. Otherwise, the company will develop a reputation, and rightfully so, of being unable to deliver on its guarantee of free and timely revisions.

Quality of work

Now it’s time to address work quality—by far the most important factor to consider when you’re looking for an essay writing company.

To get a feel for EssayPro’s work quality, we ordered five assignments. Of these, none met our standards, which was disappointing, to say the least. Let’s explain what happened with each of our orders.

The first assignment we ordered was a six-page, Shakespeare-related research paper intended for a high school English class. It was delivered three days before the deadline, which at first we thought was impressive; later, we agreed it was rushed.

First off, the writing was too sophisticated. Also, our detailed instructions weren’t followed. Even the citations were incorrect! The paper received a C-; we were expecting at least a B+.

The second assignment, a case study for a behavioral psychology class, was fantastic. But then we checked it GPTZero and it showed us 100% AI plagiarism.

The third assignment was a literature review that focused on famous novels of the Victorian Era. This was for a graduate-level literature class, so we were disappointed when we discovered that GPTZero showed us 100% AI plagiarism. The writers obviosly don’t bother to slightly rewrite essays.

Our next order was a problem-solving homework sheet for a computer science class. It was pretty simple, yet the “expert” got 4 out of 10 questions wrong; it was as if someone who didn’t know anything about computer science completed it.

The final assignment was an essay on America’s political system. It had some good ideas, but the structure left much to be desired. Also, it didn’t have any citations, which surprised us because we explicitly stated that proper citations were important. This, too, got a C-.

Based on these results, we can confidently say EssayPro’s writers should stop using AI tools for creating essays and overall their work quality needs significant improvement. Other companies, such as EssayWriter.pro, perform much better, and they do so consistently.

Nobody pays for essay help expecting to get a C-. If a writer can’t deliver A-level work time and time again, they should be let go.

All that’s to say, if work that utterly stuns your professor, in a good way, is what you’re after, it’s best to steer clear of EssayPro—for now!

Prices

Pricing at EssayPro is for the most part comparable with what other companies charge, and customers can take advantage avail discounts of 10%-30% if an order is large enough.

One page (~300 words) for an undergraduate course costs about $12. Naturally, the total cost of an order is determined by a range of factors, including the number of pages, deadline, academic level, subject, and extras.

Obviously, if you need an assignment turned around within 24 hours and it’s difficult, expect to pay top dollar.

Also, this company claims to stand by its money-back guarantee, but we didn’t have a chance to see if this is really so.

Sure, you may not have to pay an arm and a leg for the work, but there’s no way of guaranteeing you get a paper of the highest quality. To us, that’s a problem—a big problem! After all, most students are willing to pay a little more if doing so ensures a good grade.

Also, if a due date is fast approaching and the work you receive turns out to be subpar, you won’t have time to go back and forth with customer support. This is a major problem too, as refund requests must be made within a certain amount of time after order delivery.

Our verdict: If the quality of the work doesn’t improve, even spending $5-$6 per page won’t be worth it.

Customer Service

The quality of customer service often distinguishes good companies from exceptional ones. And if customer support is inadequate, your experience may be unnecessarily stressful.

We utilized EssayPro’s customer service department five times during our testing period. Unfortunately, most of the agents we matched with took a long time to answer, and some never responded to our questions—even the important ones!

Fortunately, we never needed an order refunded; it’s unclear how this would’ve turned out.

One time—and this was especially unbelievable—a support agent was rude to us and insisted we were wasting their time by asking questions. We have never experienced anything like this before and hope we never will again.

Also, communicating with your writer could be better. It’s almost like the writers aren’t required to respond promptly, and this doesn’t make much sense. Even on basic assignments, good writer-customer communication is essential.

In the end, it’s one thing for work quality to be inconsistent; bad customer support, on the other hand, is inexcusable. We hope EssayPro addresses this soon.

Testimonials and Reviews

Below are some reviews that largely speak to the experience we had with this site:

“I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of service provided by Essaypro.com. My experience has left me feeling disappointed and let down.

The service I received did not meet my expectations and the promises made by the provider turned out to be empty. It is discouraging to trust a platform and receive substandard outcomes. This experience not only wasted my time but also caused unnecessary stress in my academic journey.
I advise caution to those considering Essaypro and recommend exploring alternatives. Academic support should ease stress, not increase it, but unfortunately, my experience with Essaypro did the opposite.” – EssayScam

And another from the same review site:

“I recently used EssayPro for my assignment, and I’m quite disappointed. The quality of the work didn’t meet my expectations, and the content felt rushed. For the price I paid, I expected much better service. Will not be using them again.”- EssayScam

Closing Thoughts

As we approach the conclusion of this review, we feel it’s important to explain why we tested EssayPro.

We’re acutely aware that there are many scammers and subpar providers in the academic assistance industry, and our goal is to help students, particularly those who’ve never used a paper writing service before, avoid wasting money on sites that don’t keep their promises.

We don’t think EssayPro is a 100% scam site. But sending AI generated essays is not a good practice.

Our three-month test confirmed much of the criticism that’s been levied against EssayPro online, so it’s our conviction that, at least for now, students should steer clear of this site.

Until the company’s work quality and customer support improve, we can’t recommend it to those who need help with an essay or any other kind of assignment.
